Dear Hazell,
I thought I should write down things so when you get older I can teach you what I think are important in life and business.
Write this down: read Catcher in the Rye. Great book and teaches you to be true to yourself.
Also, here is what I learned in America.
What my western education talk me is that work and business starts with fundementals. It takes hard work to get started but there should be a focused idea in mind there is a concept that should be held and maintained. It is also important to believe in the concept, I mean truly believe in the concept. The belief is that if the concept is true then the business will work, if not then retool or give up and come up with something new, but what is new should be a culmination of what you learned. Hopefully this new concept will ring true and then the next venture will succeed.
So, honey, if you fail it just means it is a lesson to learn from. Failure is not the end but the beginning.
Love,
Daddy
